Frank J. Nighbor (deceased) played with Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa of the National Hockey Association (NHA), Ottawa and Toronto in the National Hockey League (NHL); 15 years as a Senator. Five Stanley Cups, one with Vancouver, four with Ottawa. First winner Hart Trophy and Lady Byng Trophy; Lady Byng winner three times. Noted for his stickhandling ability who made poke-check famous. He was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.
